  • I grew up thinking these guys were American, they still kick some serious ass though ;)

  • @Jgeneraledger23 aussie bands kicked serious ass during this period ... except Air Supply

  • @nzoz1976 SEE? Another band I thought was American! I agree though, AC/DC and The Bee Gees were awesome. I'm sick of feeling guilty about that, lets face it, the Bee Gees were awesome (did I just say that?) lol

  • @Jgeneraledger23 lol, actually they were good quality in the late 60's. I don't think of The Bee Gees as being Aussie - I just see them as being a British migrant band that returned to their homeland. They were, in Australia, what the Osmonds were in America (prior to their international break through). They were children that grew up in front of the Australian public and left Australia with a # single (Spicks & Specs) and moved on. I think BG's connection with Britain is far too great.

  • This is proof that Australians and Kiwis have been attractive and talented since the beginning of time.

  • @queenpsycotic Thanx... the British would disagree...

  • I hate following the crowd

  • the more i heard ppl make fun of LRB the more I liked them

  • @nzoz1976 I didn't think AIR SUPPLY was so bad , come on its ok if you liked them a little bit , ;)

  • 1st taste of LRB, here in the states. They started hittin' the top 20, the next year, in '77, with, 'Help is on its way. God bless ya, for postin' this. Thanx! Have a blessed week!

  • @Jgeneraledger23 Ah the Bee Gees were british. They were born there and they became famous there before they were famous in Australia but only thanks to another Australian Robert Stigwood who split with Brian Epstein because his Nems company would not promote them properly.

  • @Jgeneraledger23 That's only because of that faker Nelson. LRB invented west coast rock before the Eagles even thought of it and before Poco existed. They were the real deal.

  • Frigin long way to the You Yangs!! lol :)
