Billy Thorpe, "Free Enterprise" (14/14)

Side 2 of "Children of the Sun" was re-released in remixed and remastered form, but it omitted the first side of the original "Children of the Sun" album as it was not part of the COTS rock opera. This sub-par re-release more importantly completely omitted the ENTIRE second installment of the series, which was the complete "21st Century Man" album. The best thing about this weak re-release was that it did serve as a bookend for closing out the trilogy with three new songs. These songs were the last we heard of Billy's classic rock opera.

Note that side one of the original "Children of the Sun" LP, the final track from "21st Century Man" (In My Room) and the final track from "Children of the Sun Revisited" (East of Eden's Gate) are not considered canon. Only thru liner notes from these releases can we determine which tracks are considered part of the space trilogy, and which are not.

I should also note that between releases of his rock opera, Billy also issued 2 other albums in the USA. These LP's, "Stimulation" and "East of Eden's Gate" are both fantastic musically, but are not related to the space trilogy in any way.
