I've never heard this song before, and I loved the Jets growing up. I like it. This sounds similar to Karyn White's "Secret Rendezvous"

@Dwaynism ill second that motion!! wish they were still around I have the latest cd i think I love that one think its called l love you baby in that tonga melody.

This was sweet, who produced this?????????
-
odd thing about this said it was a Geffen Records but the promo 12inch have the MCA Records on it

@Dwaynism Absolutely! This song had Top 5 Pop AND R*B smash written all over it! The label didn't promote it one bit because they planned on this being the last Jets single. But if the group had continued working with producer Vassal Benford, they could have easily evolved into a 90s R&B group, and let's not forget - the Jets were ALWAYS popular with Black audiences!

This To Me Is The Best Song Ever Recorded By The Jets! They Were Starting To Come Into Their Own! Their Music Was Beginning To Mature And This Song Is An Illustration Of That Maturity! This Was Also The Last Video Of The Original Jet Line-Up 1990! 'Special Kinda Love' Is A Special Song . The Original Line-Up Called It Quits After This! That Was A Major Lost To The Music Fans! The Wolfgramm Family Are A True Musical Talent! I Miss You Elizabeth, Moana And Kathi.
