http://www.ragamuffin-cats.net these RagaMuffin Kittens mom, Jolene is shaved because she developed a severe case of Eclampsia and almost died. We rescued this litter of 2 1/2 week old kittens from a Breeder that became very ill and was hospitalized and unable to care for them. Jolene experienced a miracle and recovered, was then brought to our home and reunited with her babies and began to feed them and care for them. They are doing well now with mom's care and lots of love. No, they are not a Maine Coon Cats at all. The M on the head signifies a Tabby in most if not all Tabby cats. It does not mean Maine Coon. These Kittens are pure RagaMuffin.

The mother belonged to a breeder in KY that was hospitalized and had a person watching her cats. The caregiver came in to find the mother near death and got her to the vet who saved her life but in the process, due to the fact that she was covered in vomit and cat litter chose to shave her rather than try to bathe a very sick cat. I drove to KY to rescue the kittens who were very young and hand fed them. Mom luckily recovered and we brought her back to my home, 2 states away. Thank You.

These are Maine Coon Cats, and Ragamuffin. I know this because of the M on the little grey ones forehead, which all Maine Coon Cats have. It's not a pure bred Ragamuffin. But, Maine Coons are very, very playful and stay kittens and immature for much longer.
