Cant recall exact URL, but was an article from some trade website explaining things. Apparently local EMS' got dozens of calls per day as well. That's what convinced me.
After I read your comment I went back and payed more attention.... you are right. There is a sharp "crack" followed shortly thereafter by a "boom". I too am curious to know the reason. If you ever get an explanation, please let me know?
this is real . Burndy has the monopply on implosion crimps and they were blowing these things up all day .. theres only 1.4 grams of explosives on them
nobody has been able to succinctly explain why there are 2 audibly separate explosions. i say the first was taped real, the second was fake. i do like to crank the speakers up on it though
