Jordan and Peter Andre split (11th May 2009)

Glamour model Katie Price and husband Peter Andre have split after four-and-a-half years of marriage, their spokesman has said.

The break-up ends months of speculation over their relationship and comes just a week after they announced they were trying for another baby.

The pair, who met on ITV1 show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, have laid open their marriage for scrutiny on their own reality series, most recently titled Katie and Peter: Stateside.

The couple have two children together, son Junior, three, and one-year-old daughter Princess Tiáamii. Katie also has a six-year-old son called Harvey, by footballer Dwight Yorke.

They married in a lavish ceremony at Highclere Castle, Hampshire in 2005, where Katie famously arrived in a pink Cinderella-style coach pulled by plumed horses.

The statement said: "Peter Andre and Katie Price are separating after four-and-a-half years of marriage."

"They have both requested that the media respect their families' privacy at this difficult time."

I totally agree with everythin you wrote, peter is a really good man, and a great dad. She will never find another man like him. She seems to think she is invincible these days, but im sure she is realising what she has lost now and its nothing any amount of money can help her with. I am a massive fan of them both tho and i do secretly wish they get back together but maybe its too late and peter has been pushed too far. If you watch their first show they was so in love, its such a shame really.

I think her time away in the Maldives is it??! i think this will hit home with her and she will realise what she has lost. At the end of the day, i think she had a good man in Peter (thats just my opinion..) and deep down she knows that. I am a fan of Katie and Alex. I always thought they were really good together, better than her and Pete. But after I watched Katie and Peter: The next chapter I realized how much better suited Katie and Pete are together. They are both equally good parents but you can see the strain between them in their final interviews as a couple. I wish them all the best for the future and hope they find happiness.
