Without a doubt, this is Ron's best work thus far! I realize by now that what I am about to say is a cliche', but no other words come to mind except for, an inspired "MASTERPIECE by a PURE MUSICAL GENUIS"! His voice even richer and more melodic than ever demonstrates he is at the very apex of his craft. I hope this sample will inspire everyone out there to get the album this song is featured on("Long Player, Late Bloomer").

Discovered Ron from 'Love Shines' film. His album 'long player.....' is the best stuff I've heard in the last 10 years - it sounds effortless. Saw him with his band at the Sage Gateshead, fantastic gig by a top songwriter and musician.

What a great song and fantastic album. So many gems, like this one, with lyrics that shine like those of 'Secret Heart' and 'Gold in Them Hills'.
Production is awesome, but I also think that Ron has reached new heights in his acoustic renditions of these pieces, especially 'Get in Line'.

Agreed, best song from the album and arguably one of the best of the year. I don't know why they didn't just show clips from the film (Love Shines) 'cos there's certainly enough footage around this song to make a decent video. The official video looks a bit limp given the uplifting music. Brilliant song though. Hope he's bringing a band with him to the Manchester gig in September so that he can do this song justice in it's live format. Ron, you're a genius. Keep going!

The concert (April 2011) was fabulous. Bought the album and listened in wonder. I am mesmerized by the pure beauty of Ron Sexsmith's voice. His work is a masterpiece.
