There are two fundemental difference between Foxtel, Sky Anytime and other VOD systems, and they are critical ones. 1) Its Free and 2) - Editorial Control. Time and Effort is placed into the selection and scheduling of content for Foxtel On Demand and Sky Anytime. This results in increased customer satisfaction levels. I don't believe the same can be said of Virgin Media, Cox, Comcast or Time Warner who have effectively play the video store model with all the inherent risk of choosing and paying for a 'dudd' video.
