Vote against the Health Insurance reform bill --- its a power play by a big government to take more control over citizens lives!!

It's unconstitutional - and all those that vote for it will soon find themselves in the unemployment lines.

There's better ways of handling the rising costs of health care - tort form and opening up state boarders would help....consider this instead of trying to pull it out of the private market.

@HuskerJisa Sorry for the delay. Those statistics are CBO statistics. No one needs to make up these numbers; they're in the CBO score! I chose to use uninsurable citizens rather than people without insurance because this is/was a free country and we had 20 million people who made enough money but chose to forego health insurance.

Who are we as a country, a culture and nation that it is OK that a large portion of our community is uninsured or lives in fear of a health crises? Basic health care should never be a privilege for only the most wealthy, but a fundamental right of a decent and civil society. Our country is strong enough, bright enough, and good enough to have it be so.

Senator Nelson, PLEASE don't vote for this astonishingly stupid Public Option. With a $7-9 trillion deficit already we can't afford this stupid bill which is only going to drive costs up and make taxpayers responsible for the tab. Excuse me--big insurance companies keep costs DOWN!

Does it make sense to keep supporting a broken health care system that favors only the well employed and wealthy and health care corporations?

If you get a chronic disease and/or become very ill and are unable to keep your job and can't keep paying your insurance premiums you will soon find yourself uninsured.

We need to support this president and his health care reform Our current system is unsustainable.
