what it dosen't show is the plains tearing themselves apart as parts of them touch the ground causing the emergency landing to be a failure, that first one would have been 100% disaster

Of course. At least the undercarriage would have collapsed on the grass! Something else the folkes at MS overlooked. This needs a total rewrite of the damage profile file.
