Man, I LOVE it how American Idol takes old outdated songs and redo and revamp them. Gah, kelly your amazing. I love it how she doesnt try to sound the same as the artist, and makes it her own.

Simon didn't have the same instincts earlier on though... He did not vote for Kelly to be in the Top 30... She was a semifinalist because Randy and Paula voted for her to be there. Simon didn't really back her until after the audience voted her through. ;)

Notice how the judges comments took about 40 seconds to complete... Now, the judges comments average about 2 and a half minutes, and that's if they don't bicker back and forth about something...
