For a start the characters look like they've sustained facial burns and had plastic reconstruction with diminution of their facial features. They also look a good few feet shorter, and as though they've had bilateral below-knee amputations. The sound in general is shocking, and there isn't even any of the boss music I loved from the arcade. I don't even think the giant bosses throw you over their heads and go 'grrr' in this, which I loved in the coinop.

To be fair, the background graphics are very faithful to the arcade. But my God, who did the sprites and animation? The Lee brothers look like women, and what's with the vomit noise when someone dies? And no music??? Sheesh...

Give it a rest, The master system version was miles better. Yes i am a big retro gamer, with many old and new consoles including a master system 1 2 and an amiga 5/6/1200.This version along with the c64 and atari st was absolute pants.
