Police Shooting Deer

There was an injured deer leaping through my neighbourhood and it jumped into my yard. It went out the open fence and near my neighbour's shed. The police were following it and they shot it twice, the first bullet missing the deer and making a hole in the neighbour's shed. I believe it was mercy killing since it was injured in the leg.
The following footage, which occurred on May 27th, 2007, shows the deer's corpse being carried out by the police into the truck.

@CutePoniesLOL Unfortunately this is a cruel world.The Police do not have the facilities to take keep and look after injured wild animals.You can't leave an injured Deer running around in residential neighborhoods cause they will injure pets and children and even adults.It doesn't look it but a Deer can cause a lot of damage.Look at it that way there are gonna be some unfortunate poor families who going to get some much needed meat in their fridges OK CuteponiesLOL???? why do ppl kill animals if they brake or sprain a leg i mean they fix dog and cat bones all the time. u cant just give up on them and not try to help them, dont just kill them. how bout u ask the animal if it wants to be killed first if it says yes than do it, i cant belive ppl these days >:(

i hit one last night in my shelby, broke my mirror and put a couple dents in the car. i swerved to avoid it but the lil guy was running full speed and hit the side of my car. if i had to guess i mustve crakced its skull or atleast broken one of its legs? by the time i turned around to get my mirror there was a nice trail of blood. wish i couldve found it to put it out of its misery

@clf1394 Their not that heavy; that ones only about 75-90lbs. I lifted my 125lb doe onto the back of the 4-wheeler just fine. Its their floppy head thats so annoying.
