Being as I couldn't find an answer to my questions ANYWHERE, I bit the bullet and bought the game. After comparing the two, I can say that the game is now very enjoyable since the update. Loading times are next to nothing, and so the game flows much better than before. A worthy buy for any Qix fan.

Only downside is that you can complete it in about an hour. But still, for 99p you really can't complain! :)

Is this game massively improved in terms of loading times after the update?

I played it on a friend's PSP ages ago and thought the actual game was great, but I spent longer waiting for levels to load than I did playing them. That made the whole experience really frustrating, and essentially 'broke' the game for me.

I'm toying with the idea of buying this for my PS3, but I can't find any reviews or anything on the updated version...

Did the update go out in NA? I re-downloaded last night and it was the old version.
