I wrote these lyrics and arranged "The Place I'll Return to Someday" (Terra Theme by Nobuo Uematsu) for vocals, keyboards, guitar and drums. It took me two weeks, but I think it came out well. I have a copyright on the lyrics I wrote, and this vocal version of "a place to call home". I DO NOT, however, own the melody. Nobuo Uematsu gets all the kudos for writing such lovely melodies! ^0^

I love this version of the song.  However, the clips you have are mainly of Garnet, but I believe that the song has to do with Zidane.. maybe.. that's what I always thought playing the game.

@Rednelm Most of the clips in the game show Garnet xD But perhaps Square will release this game again with more cutscenes featuring Zidane ^_~

Maybe. Still, this is a fantastic song.  There is room for improvement on the mix though. I wish I could mix it for you. There are parts where the vocals get buried.

I've downloaded a copy of your song off mediafire, but the digital copy off mediafire isn't nearly as crisp or loud as youtube's version? is that supposed to be the case or am i doing something wrong lol

@Marth6262 youtube highly compresses whatever is uploaded so the songs end up louder and "hissy". The version mediafire is the original studio version, so it's actual very high quality compared to what you hear on the video here ^w^; At some point I intend to get my covers mastered so that they can be louder AND stay high quality ^_~
