if you are willing to conceed that everyone in politics today is someones bitch, bought and sold by the process - you must assert that to some extent we have a sort of corporate monarchy on our hands. is it so insane to suggest that external to this private individuals have consolidated power and want more, and that they are willing to offer us all up on the latar of thier ambition as sacrifices?

as a student of human history i dont see anything crazy about postulating that power, given free reign to do so will coalesce into structures that can secure and maintain that power. Universally speaking this is precisely the case, we have entered an era of globalism, technology and transportation have changed the game, we have entered what i call the age of petty kingdoms.
