    Simply no. There are 4 strokes (phases) for the piston to make:

    1st- Air enters through the intake valves whilst fuel enters from the injection nozzle .

    2nd- The piston compresses the air and fuel mixture on its way up.

    3rd- The spark plug ignites firing up the fuel and air mixture pushing the piston down.

    4th- The piston pushes the exhaust of burned fuel through the exhaust valves.

    anyone else watch this vid like 10 times already but keep coming back just for the music? Especially since other assembly animations just have you stare at the screen lol

    Horsepower is a calculation of power based on a specific amount of torque at a specific rpm. Simply put, (horse) power is a force at speed.

    You can find horsepower of any engine if you know how much torque it makes at a specific rpm: Torque x RPM ÷ 5252 = HP

    For example: 120ft/lbs of torque x 6000 RPM ÷ 5252 = 137.1HP
