  • I don't think Eponine can be "too pop." I think she was written, musically, to be very pop and in stark contrast to Cosette's operatic soprano.

  • @WiseGuy19 Les Mis is a great musical and not opera but i've read in wikipedia that all the characters voice have to be tenors or sopranos etc.I don't understand that but they're amazing:)

  • @jamison850 You're totally ignorning the fact that Schonberg oversaw the musical direction and production process of this tour - he obvioulsy liked it, thought it fitted, and endorsed it.

  • My big applause for this is that she's on every note. So many times actresses overdo the belting and play the melodrama card which harms their vocal performance.

  • She sounds amazing. And so what, Shes riffing! Get ovr it! This tour is all about giving the musical a modern make-over, Shes just doing her Job.

  • @TheJudgeNYC um...its one riff. ONE. I hate riffing too. But if you're going to choose to riff in this song that is the one place that is expectable to do so.

  • You'd think Schonberg would have written in the damn riffs if he wanted them...

  • saw her yesterday, and she is a wonderful eponine, everyone saying that she riffs to much. get a grip, she can do what she likes! it sounds amazing in the theatre, completely in context and not 'out of the ordinary extreme riffing' this girl has talent, and just because she's not classically swaying through the song, doesn't mean she's a shit eponine. her acting and passion is flawless too, leave her alone, okay. rant over.

  • i've heard better.....there's no denying she's a good singer, but she doesn't provide the same emotion that Lea Salonga or Ashley Spencer (she was in my hometown production of Les Mis, at the Pittsburgh CLO) did in their performances.

  • she has a good voice but its not as good as lea salonga's rendition

  • No riffing please god. No riffing. . . WHY?

  • She won't be playing Eponine when the tour comes to the US, I wish she would.
