It really is a shame when ya think about it. When MTV began, there was a vision and it came to life. It is so, so SO sad how that vision has faded and gone away. How sad the original VJ's must be to see something so ahead of its time...gone. Taken over by reality, and trash. Shame on the people who are now controlling this channel. They have taken away more than just music..they took away that vision. I miss the good 'ol days. Just as you...but I am proud to part of the MTV generation!

"Same as it ever was" What a joke! MTV is crap now. I remember when it was Music Television. I can't believe MTV is over 28 years old now. The original VJ's can be heard on XM Channel 8 which is the 80's channel.
