is there any equalizer? i bought a 120gb zune and was fairly disapointed when i did no see adjustment for eq... even my old off brand mp3 player had that... other wise i love it... works pretty smooth

Nope, there's no EQ. Unlike the Zune 30, the Zune 80/120 lacks hardware support for an EQ, and doing it in software would kill the battery life.

Do you think the Zune 4/8/16 sound quality is better than the ipod nano, cause the nano has terrible sound. I'm thinking about getting a zune 8 or 16.

I've never owned an iPod Nano, so I can't comment on the sound quality - but I've read that the sound quality in general on all iPods is fairly bad, but that the audio quality on the Zune is much nicer. I certainly have zero complaints about the audio quality on my Zunes.

i'm thinking of buying a zune v2 4gb, and i was wondering how you control the volume when you are listening to music (if it involves touch or not)

yeah i think these are better than the nano and classic and i don't think that that the zunes should be compared with the touch. the touch is a lot different. Still love my iphone though :)

i was looking for something besdes a ipod and some research, went to the store and i liked the sony one. it was small and had good battery life. 4gb for 99$ at the source by circuit city. asked the guy to get me one he went to the back he was taking long so im like hey ill be back in 5 mins. i went 50 feet over to wal-mart they had the 8gb zune for 99$ so im like fuck the sony one and took a chance with the zune. and it was a good buy i would recommend it to anyone, its defiantly a ipod killer

well if you wanna go to the home screen but u dont wanna go click a lot of times just hold the back bottom for 2 secs and it'll go back to the home screen

Me too. I returned my ipod and bought a Zune. The Zune is better in Every Area.

The Zune sounds better and is in no need for an EQ. Since most people would adjust it wrong and then wonder why they have such short battery life. lol
