@mmcs1222 Thanks for this. I checked out a bit of your feature video too and it was sounding good but is downloading slow for me here so I'm going to come back again to hear it in full later. Bye for now, I appreciate your encouraging words. Pete

@rhopen Hi Ron. I finally got around to listening to Marshall Tucker Band and can hear what you mean. I Heard It In A Love Song rang a bell. Must have heard it before.
Reckon the slide player may have been accentuating the influence they have had on our sound a bit there...
Also, I think I may have something for our video to The Crimson Sea. Will get you something to look at pretty soon.
Pete
Well done Pete
In the 1960's this is the version that would have been on the record album and a shortened version without the instrumentals would have been heard on the radio (you know, the 3-minute rule).
Excellent collaboration effort from Ron, too (as usual).

@dholeton Yeah, I know what you mean...at least 'till Like A Rolling Stone and Hey Jude changed the rule book. Just look at how long the current You Tube hit by Katie Perry is...8 mins something...it's a far cry from Dylan's best though ain't it?
Ron is always great in collaborations, true. In fact I reckon he might be avoiding advertising it too much because he'd get so many requests he wouldn't have the time to record his own songs anymore...and they are excellent too.

This is an outstanding piece of work. I come back time and time again to hear this song. I want it on my ipod.

Thanks Joe! I grew up next to oak trees and the 1st country song I remember owning is Hickory Wind, the 1st line of which is: "In South Carolina there are many tall pines/I remember the oak trees that I used to climb." Ron Haselden who played slide on this lives in South Carolina and I was tickled pink he agreed to play on it. Funny how the circle turns around.

Best greetings from germany

@vjaspers0608 Thank you very much. The arts part was done by a talented man near your neck of the woods...well Sweden actually but it looks close on the map from Australia which is ridiculously huge for a place with only 22 million people.
