how about that 30 year time frame (approximately 1940-1970) when texas A&M basically had no football team because of the high demand for soldiers? Because until the mid 60's A&M was strictly a military school. Only the scrubs unfit for military activity remained home. tu's team on the other hand, remained intact. Ha Ha, I remember this game. I called it like a week before it was played that Texas would lose. EVERYONE thought I was crazy, but I knew A&M had something for them. And boy did they! Funny as hell to see UT get that ass kicked up and down the feild and McCoy squirm like a fish out of water when he got hurt. For that you gotta give props to A&M. They even stuck it to UT on THEIR OWN FIELD!! Just funny as hell!
