The Woman Warrior
A Book by Maxine Hong Kingston
It sucked.
This is an English project that doesn't.
Mike Geary plays the lead as The No-Named Woman Warrior
Cara plays Tang Tong Wang Wong
I play The No-Named Woman Warrior's No-Named Father
Taylor plays The No-Named Woman Warrior's No-Named Father''s No-Named Wife
Colby plays as some army guy- But he wasn't in our class so he doesn't count.

  • Well, like I said, we just had to make a movie over a section of the book. That's what the section was about, so that's what we made our movie about.

I understand what the book was about... Would you really like to see a movie version of that whole book? Didn't think so.. Neither would anybody else.

  • It's not Kingston using the magic... She's retelling the story her mother told her as a child. Check sparknotes/wikipedia if you think I'm wrong. Also the warrior you were talking about was Fa Mulan... It was supposed to be a more american take on an old chinese legend. The No-name woman was her aunt. Sorry I'm assailing you here. I was looking for stuff on the book on youtube because I'm writing a term paper on it now and came by your project. XD

  • Well, we just had to make a movie over a section of the book since it was made up of different parts. Otherwise, we'd have to have a long video and dumb.

If it's an autobiography, how come she uses magic and stuff? Magic isn't real.

Again, we only did the video of one of the sections so we did a video on the least boring section.

  • How much of the book did you actually read? O.o Because the Mulan story was only a small part of it. And the No-named woman was totally separate... And the main character was the author... It's an autobiography.

  • Who the heck rated this a 1?!
