Sometimes an 18-55mm 4.5 zoom lens but mainly the 50mm 1.8 EF (very reasonable price of $150 at Ted's Camera Store).

I have watched this so many times! How long did it take you to film and edit? (I was at your lecture at vca the other day) haha

Oh cool! Glad you enjoyed it. It probably took me from May-August to shoot it (had to deal with my lead actress travelling overseas and such). I edited as I went during the school year using my laptop til around September.

hey just wondering how exactly you did the effect at 1:03 and 1:05, at the start of the party, where it speeds up with the sound effect, and then goes back to normal?

@reesyrocks007 I literally just cut the footage up and sped parts of it up in time with the sound effect and added in an "additive crossfade" in between each cut (it's in FInal Cut Pro)

Hahaha I think i just died a little after watching that, it was too ridiculously good. Hurts doubly bad because my film is also about a guy who creates and imaginary friend who gets out of hand but your execution and cinatography was mind blowing. Excellent work man.
