This is the entrance to the stone grotto which leads into a cave that was built from stacked slate and big boulders, one weighing in close to 50,000 lbs!! This 12' x 12' concrete vault was transformed into a stone cave with water weaping from the walls, scored timbers across the roof with roots and moss growing everywhere.. As you start turning, you can see the water dripping from the walls as if you were in a "leaky mine shaft"; to turn and see about 35,000 to 40,000 gallons of water falling over your head...It's pretty neat to walk through on a hot day, go visit it at Aqualand in St. Charles, Il..This was constructed in a few days during the World's Most Extreme Pond Build in July 2008
