Nice video but one question?? Wouldn't the grease you use gunk up your bolt. Anyway heard if you over grease. It could possibly jam the weapon.

I was informed to put a small amount of lube inside the gas key to ensure a tight seal. Yes or No, Bad or Good?

I watched this video shortly after getting my AR. I have put high rounds counts on different outings and have not had a failure or stoppage due to lubrication. This method works great for me too. Thanks for the vid!

@jamesyeager I have a question for you. I have a bushmaster ar 15 and an AK 47 both with Chrome lined barrels. I was told that oiling a Chrome lined barrel will warp and damage it. How do you oil your ar barrel? I use hoppes 9 and REM oil. Is it ok to lightly coat the barrel with REM oil after using hoppes 9?

@Iancwilliamson - DO NOT oil the barrel of any firearm.

@JamesYeager Wow, you mean to never oil or lube the barrel, or do you mean to wipe the oil/lube off after applying it? I think I'm in the middle of a big fuck up here Yeagy, please save my sorry, broke ass!
