\\\Maytag - I'm on a Fridge

After releasing their highly successful debut album and EPs, \\\Maytag decided to go beyond the realm of mortal music once again by using their drone doom prowess to parody a pop song--The Lonely Island's smash hit "I'm on a Boat." The fusion of drone doom soundscapes with juvenile and simplistic pop is one that has never been attempted before, but now this combination shows how grim music can truly get. In addition to recording this song, \\\Maytag also decided to make a music video to accompany it--one that combines the sheer humor of the original video with the frostbitten nature of the great metal videos of old, such as Immortal's "Call of the Wintermoon."
