Israel is not our ally. We don't even have a treaty signed with them. South Korea is literally an ally of ours, and has been attacked by North Korea (who already has nukes) on multiple occasions. So why are we obsessed with Iran?

@DKB786 Hopelessly misinformed? I think not. I should have said that Iran does not have many Jews living there. They used to have 100s of thousands living there before the shaw was over thrown. There are more Persian Jews in Israel and the USA now than in Persia. And I know Persian Jews that are in the US because they had to flee Iran - not because they just chose to come to America. Don't be so condescending.

You are hopelessly misinformed. After Israel, Iran has the second largest Jewish population in the Mid-East. Also Jews serve in the Irani parlament and are respected members of the Iranian society.

Look, I completely agree with Ron Paul's stance to cut economic aid to Israel. I also support his stance to NOT cut military aid to Israel. Israel is one of the greatest nations on Earth economically. Why do we need to spend more of the taxpayer's dollar on funds they don't need? I wish not to leave them alone absolutely, but I do think we need to back off a bit, as does Ron Paul.
