@beaternator i thought in fatal frame 3 mayu has that problem where she cant wake up because shes trapped in the the all god's village (just like that lady who was in a plane accident and was the only survivor) and they found mio's body laying there with no legs, arms, and head....

Could someone tell me what exactly is the kusabi is for or why they did that to him i mean i don't really get why he was needed i thought that they only needed the twins.

@purplelily44 The kusabi was a ritual meant to hold off the main sacrifice if the twins were not ready. For example, if the twins needed for the sacrifice were not old enough or did not meet the criteria they'd use a kusabi to stabilize the pit in order to give them the time needed.
