Instead of posting ignorant comments, why don't you go there and find out just what we were doing? I was there from 2007-2008 in the Army. I was attached to a Civil Affairs team and we spent countless hours working with locals and teaching them to be self-sufficient. Unlike the Saudi's and the Chinese who are just handing out money (which is a short term solution). We dug wells, provided medical care to isolated villages, and vaccinated their livestock. I am proud of what we accomplished there.
