@hkw521125 Not pointing the blame towards anyone, but someone must properly secure the dwelling. Even during a emergency you have to think things through or this is the result. I was almost a victim from the same thing when I lived in apts. Someone left a pot on the stove to go to the store and burned down half of the building. This still falls in the irresponsible category, just my opinion

@earl0603 they had to take their child to the hospital, it was an emergency and they just left the house quick, its not anyones fault

This house was four 3 or 4 houses down from mine the little girls that lived there rode my bus everyday the bus stop was my house so it was very sad to see that happen to them. when one of them had a deadly allergic reaction the mom was in a hurry so the person wouldnt die right there in the kitchen and ran him to the hospital and acsadently left a pot cooking on the stove because she was cooking breakfast.

I don't understand east coast firefighting. All these videos are exterior attacks, get in the front door and kick that fire's ass. Out here in California we'd be in there knocking the fire down with two lines from the inside. Control in less than 7 minutes.
I get that you guys love toys a foam... makes you feel like big boy firemen with all that stuff eh? Foaming a wall and some trees is much more fun than saving a house and fighting a fire...

Still don't know why people leave the house with hot fire under a pot. Just turn it off if you have to leave for a little while. Use some common sense folks
