Flower is a carnation shot over 4 days with a Nikon CoolPix 995 with Photo Assistant time. It is spun by setting the pot on an appliance timer. I put green dye in the water to make the leaves spot. Then to make it wilt I replaced the water with vinegar and sprinkled salt on it and sprayed it with rubbing alcohol.

What is love. And what am I?
Destine to live beneath pale sky,
When evening dusk and midnights pitch,
Cast a pall upon the soul,
When loves poverty and fortunes rich,
Never quench. Never full.
Is love a thing which others gain, illusion at its base?
Is sweet desire all that insane, and want it will erase?
I think perhaps, that loves quest is vain, A fortune never had,
And fortunes gain can drive insane, fulfillment to the mad.
Is there fulfillment in the earth or heaven up above?
No. There is no gain, me thinks again, there is no real love.
And then I see that dear again. And know that it exists,
In childrens hearts and minds and yet, the census will not list,
The complete love of one who give and never seeks return,
For love is given without receipt, for never is it earned.
And in display was never shown, nor shall it ever show,
And then I see the way it is. Its then I truly know.
