The Palm Desert newspaper said 150,000 were at the festival. We got there at 9am to get our front row and center, on the rail spots. We stood there through all the other awesome groups but none could compare with Paul's. He started at 10pm and finished at 1am. They were fantastic!
I was there and Paul was not only great, but generous! He gave the pick away. I saw him give the pick to a roadie and the roadie went out into the crowd and gave the pick away. What a gift!
This is the way to play for mass audience - keep reaching new audience. I was lucky enough to hear him with Ringo in NYC on a beautiful night. The Beatles always hit it out of the park when they had to.
0:13 to 0:29 gave me chills :D

his voice actually sounds better than it did before imo, but this performance is amazing, hands down

It's called "Here Today" off the Tug of War album. I like the live version much better, with just him and his acoustic guitar.

I think everyone there had chills when he played the acoustic songs. Amazing performance of a true living legend.
