Mamie's hot as hell, but her voice is very grating here. She sounded a lot better in UNTAMED YOUTH. It makes me wonder if they dubbed her in that one...

Mamie always did all her own singing... I think she was meant to sound "grating" on this one- just the style of the song within the context of the movie. But I agree, her voice is very "grating" here.
