I had this album. I always thought it was more Motownish than country. I used to call it "Sleeping Single in a Double-Wide".

I guess it didn't cross well,#102,you must have one of the bubbling under the Hot 100 books by Joel Whitburn.

We just LOVE Barbara!! Our 2 daughters belonged to her fan club in 1986. Once Barbara & her sisters held a breakfast in Nashville for her fan club members - We mailed money orders for the tickets.. but they got lost & it was only a few days left before the breakfast - So, we called Barbara's secretary&she said she'd speak with Barbara & get back to us. She called back & said "Miss Mandrell said Come ON Down without the tickets!" & We had the BEST seat in the house from the BEST SINGER EVER!

i don't see how this is a country song...she maybe has a slight drawl, but that's the only thing that's country about this to my ear...i remember my parents watching her variety series on tv, with her two sisters...

This is actually a crossover song, but considering it was a Billboard #1 country song and peaked at #102 on the pop chart, I've labeled it country.
