Marklin mobile station for iPad

How iPad Mobile App works, you will need software update fro this to work. You will need to connect your CS2 to your internet connection, and then go to the menu option for updating and chose update via the ethernet I believe. It will connect to Marklin and get the update.

Hi, as far as I know the developers are still waiting to release the Lenz system version before they tackle the CS2, and that has not occurred. You might want to check out their website and forum.

dose it work with the touch cab app i am thinking of getting this system but first i need to convert my dc trains to dcc but if the touch cab app works with the marklin controller IL be one step there

Hi, as far as I know they are working on the Lenz system as their release. I read where the next thing would be to tackle the CS2. You might want to check on the Touch Pad website to up to date on where they are.

You will need to connect your CS 2 to the internet and then go to its menu screen where you see the options for the update and make the choice so that it connects to the internet and it will go to the Marklin German site and get the 1.5.1 update package.

Hi as far as I know the only way to get the update is from their website. I think if you connect your CS2 to the internet it will go out and do an update.

@Thorfinn884 No, how would you connect an iPad to the track? The Central Station 2 has some interfaces to connect to other marklin assesories as well. You can only control a Central Station 2 with an iPad or iPhone / iPod Touch and that's it

Handy if you have a large track and need to walk around and control the trains/signals/switches ...

no it cant replace the central station.

It can only replace or add an additional mobile station to the central station.

because an ipad has almost the same price as the central station 2.
