@TheNerdatron123 I'm in the same boat as you. I'd love to be a zoologist, or an environmental biologist. But, you should pick a major in any of the life sciences, and your choice college has a zoology major- great. If not, major in biology, animal science, chemistry or any related. That should get you a good head start.

Hi, I'm wanting to be a Zoologist or Herpetologist. I'm wondering, what should I take in College for both. Also, I'm curious about the salary for both (Just an average salary. I know it depends). And if anyone is experienced, I would like to know how a daily job is for the two. Feel free to give me tips or pointers. Thanks.

What i think people don't realize is that even though they're showing all these fun activities with animals, half your day is spent in an office typing reports

Acctually carnt believe so many people are put off by the wage in the UK zoologists are paid £40,000 one of the highest paid scientific jobs

@gomezd3 very true and it would be hard to loose an animal at your own hands. i would be so depressed if that happend. zoology is for me 2 :)
