Jeff Nelson, a resident of Blaine County, Idaho, fishes alone in the Copper Basin for 15 minutes and hooks or lands 31 fish. Not often that you stumble upon schools of wild cutthroat trout all by your lonesome, but it does happen. I shared this spot with my Uncle Miner (Happy 80th Miner!) and Walde, a guide from Silver Creek in Ketchum, Idaho (both on different days). Not very pretty technique with this one, just an attempt to hook as many fish as quickly as possible and damn the consequences!
