La Esmeralda should be banned from YAGP. its way overused and doesnt show much. just turns and extention. theres a lot more to dance than tricks. but she was pretty good.

I completely agree. I am so sick of watching that variation, and most dancers don't even have the personality of Esmeralda down, so it just becomes a trick rather than a performance.

Very very good! But she needs to strengthen her ankles, work on her turnout, and make her movement bigger. She was wonderful to watch though!

Beautiful technique but she needs to have more stage presence. I find a lack in excitement while she dances. But still beautiful :)

She's OK, she needs to get stronger, and i agree with the comment below the echappes need to be bigger for la esmerelda. over all, she's a beautiful performer.

I absolutely LOVED watching her!! Amazing control great balance great extensions and turns and BEAUTIFUL artistry and beautiful body!!!

I liked it very much, though the movement of the hips at the beginning it's kind of not THAT classical.

You're kind of the first one I watched who got the rhythm right in the end... I'm pretty impressed. that makes it way more difficult but you did it. Great

@katielazar Well, although she has an amazing turning ability and great extensions, her movements aren't very classical. Also, her legs are turned in and ballonnes need more work.

Very nice. Lovely facility, quite a natural turning ability. She needs to work on her feet and her strength at the end. Also, is this costume for a Corsaire odalisque?!?
