In response to protests, riots and escalating violence, the Obama administration called for a peaceful transition in Egypt. However, how would he react to such actions in America? Some argue America is facing a similar crisis that could result in riots and revolt in the streets. Would Obama act differently than Mubarak? Wayne Allyn Root, the 2008 Libertarian Vice-Presidential Nominee, argued Obama would likely be just as intolerant to change as Mubarak.

  • The US government supported a dictator that was against freedom. So, that tells everyone where they stand.

  • WAYNE ALLYN ROOT 2012

  • I know what he did. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!

  • @22KingRat My disagreement wasn't with Wayne, it was with Mark Hinkle, allowing a convicted, multiple offense child molester back into the party after the state ExCom kicked him out, simply because they were friends. Personally, if I found out that one of my friends was a kid toucher, we'd no longer be friends, plain and simple. The LP cannot be the party of principle if it has none. If we're too afraid to upset the social club, we shall remain just that.

Also, I used profanity for emphasis.

  • @SebKnowlton I am 56 years old. Thru my experience in working with people, I have learned several basic things. One, you do not quit a civic organization over a few disagreements with fellow members. Two, you never expect perfection in anyone. Three, that cuss words are a poor substitute for more effective words.

You once had a direct interest in the Libertarian Party. So, I hope you regain a favorable perception of it over time, and start helping me and thousands of others in building it.

  • @22KingRat That's bullshit. I was a delegate for the LP here in California but quit last year following the Matt Barnes fiasco. Root once told John Jay Myers that "we need to be in the middle east to support Israel" and refuses to take a stance on either abortion or gay marriage.

  • @SebKnowlton Wayne Allyn Root 'is' a Libertarian, because he is a member of the Libertarian Party. Also, he 'is' a libertarian, because he is 'mostly' fiscally prudent and 'mostly' socially tolerant. I know these facts because I have continually studied him, since becoming a volunteer for his U.S. Vice Presidential campaign in 2008.

  • @22KingRat Too bad he isn't really a Libertarian.

  • This is a very astute observation!

Wayne Allyn Root is the Libertarian Party's most visible national promoter. His energy and enthusiasm is boundless!

  • @PQXLR Exactly, well something might happen who knows but I hope the people wont stand for it.

  • @WillkommenJulius .........AND stay in Power
