  • @good2go013 You can try it -- we have heard folks have used that in the past, but haven't tested it specifically, or if Grindz works better/worse. - Kat

  • Gail or Kat, does running "rice" through these conical grinders work well and safe ? tks Joe.

  • @SW34R3NG3N Thanks for your feedback! That's definitely as sign -- although not definitive, as you often have to change your grind with new beans (even from the same roaster) and as the beans age. But it is a good general rule of thumb. - Kat

  • Nice job. I was wondering what I could use to run through the burs to clean them off; I'll need to order up some Grindz. I use my Baratza daily. Sometimes it's espresso, French press or automatic drip but it gets lots of use. A sign that your burs are wearing (in addition to what the vid mentioned) is that you need to set the grinder to a lower number to achieve the same fineness you used to get at a higher number. I am enjoying a number of your posts so thanks for taking the time.

  • @dvejr Awesome :) - great to hear! Kat

  • THANK YOU! Now that I know about the probe, and getting the packed coffee dust from between those little white tabs surrounding the lower (non-removable) burr, I can finally get good feeding again.
