@YapperDesign Also called a brace which is the correct term anyway (was set a long time ago via the ASCII standard).
They are colloquially known as "curly braces, squiggly braces, curly brackets, squiggle brackets, Tuborgs, ponds, curly chevrons, squirrly braces, hitchcocks, chippendale brackets"

thanks! just what i was looking for...very similar to actionscript 3, as i hoped, but was unsure.
btw, what you called a "special hook", is typically referred to as a "curly bracket" in English. Thanks again!

Is it possible to create an imitation of the ipod screen motion animation, such as from the main page go to music and then go to playlist etc. using After Effect?

After Effects is the most powerful video FX editor. You can do almost everything in it on what you see on the internet, TV,.. etc. Only not 3D modeling.
