Signe Hasso (1910-2002) was a Swedish actress who played major roles in Hollywood in the mid-1940s. She established a reputation as a capable and versatile player, but never achieved the fame of her contemporary, Ingrid Bergman. She also became a noted authoress, poet and writer of song lyrics. Filmgoers will best remember her as the cross-dressing spy in Henry Hathaway's compelling true-life drama "The House on 92nd Street" (1945), and as the wife of a psychotic actor in "A Double Life" (1948)

Welch Überraschung die junge Signe Hasso hier zu hören. Ich kenne nur ihre späteren Aufnahmen. Und dazu noch mit diesem Lied. Ich meine vor vielen Jahren eine Aufnahme (deutscher Text) mit Schuricke gehört zu haben. Ist dir schon einmal eine deutschsprachige Fassung untergekommen - erinnerst du den deutschen Titel? Die norweg. Rex - Gesang Drangholt gibt als Komponist irrtümlich R. Kötscher an:-(

Ich wüsste überhaupt nicht das die Signe Hasso mal auf Platten gesungen hat, und war deswegen völlig überrascht als ich die Platte vor einem Jahr auf der Berliner Flohmarkt fand!

Übrigens freut es mich sehr wieder mal von dir zu hören, und hoffe das alles in gute Ordnung ist !
