  • Signori....dal minuto 4:20 al minuto 5:40 é .... EMOZIONANTE. Questo video é semplicemente un autentico tesoro. Ringrazio vivamente Oneguin65. Questi due non sono cantanti, sono DEI DELL'OLIMPO. Grazie signori di essere venuti al mondo. Grazie Franco, eri la più grande voce che abbia mai ascoltato.

  • 24 dislikes?!! Apocalypse is near indeed.

  • Two of the greatest at the peak of their craft.

Absolutely thrilling voices. How great to have

this treaure preserved. Thanks for posting!

  • I am one of the dislikes on this video. Why? Nilsson and Corelli had two powerful voices, but they could not give a sense to what they sang. Corelli had even a defective technique (at 5:04 is very obvious, enigmi-sono) that ruined his voice too early. Nilsson, as usual, is a magnificient instrument poorly used (phrasing and diction) and a bad actress. Better Turandots? Turner, Borkh, Cigna, Sutherland... Better Calafs? Pavarotti (!), Bergonzi, Bjoerling, Domingo...

  • @AFelmejo e quando dicendo "qui nell'anima mia si rifugiò" chiude gli occhi proteggendo la memoria della "ava dolce e serena"... brividi!

  • Nilsson is unbelievable. Her sound is sharper than any laser-beam.

  • SUBLIMI ENTRAMBI !!!

    Grazie !

  • @kirkenes There is always and everywhere idiots!!!

Sorry men but i don't understand the 26 dislikes for this treasure! Perhaps i am the idiot and you are the clever one but for me this is perfection!

  • Turandot is one of my favorites operas. And this interpretation is marvelous! If you have the rest, post it here, please. It´s a great interpretation.

  • @AFelmejo Concordo .. E' di una bellezza inesprimibile :)

  • I remember her first Turandot .... in San Francisco.... it was utterly amazing. I manage to see all of her great roles including Isolde in Vienna, SF, MET, and Bayreuth. Staggering voice. Incredible lady!

  • As powerful and overwhelming is Nilsson's voice, there is such vulnerability in her singing especially in the passage, "I avenge her cry and her death" I also read somewhere that during a live performance in an open air arena she sang the high C in this aria with such force that people thought fire alarms were going off in the town.
