I really love all of his albums up to Here and There (released in 1977). After that, he went down due to one out of three professional breakups with Bernie Taupin. I was very lucky to spend my teenage years listening to this, and to have those vinyls in pristine condition :D

@17865329, I recall rather well the release of Elton's "classic years" on CD, and Blue was not on the list, and so I do see what you mean.

@sandinyourshoes You mean the ones who haven't heard the 5 or 6 albums that preceded it. Some fans see it as the b eginning of the end of his prime.

Blue Moves was one of Eltons best. It's hard to compare any one. Hell,no one can.

Some Elton fans say Blue Moves was his masterpiece! He does sound in top form!

He opened with this song during his 1986 tour of Europe. I saw him at the Paris Bercy. Great fun, really.

Love the photo video that you have on here.... bought this album back when it came out. Really wasn't popular as his early works.... but there are a few good songs on here! Kudos on the song and video presentation.
