A! zapomniałem!!!

Dear VVojtek soldier Bear, This is the first video I've seen of my father's ship, Burza. My father was Kazimierz Ziatek. How did you get the photo???Please contact me.
I am sorry that people died during this film. I have been in shock since I saw it.

@soundsarama Respect to your father, i have few more short clips with ORP "Burza" and i suspose there will be some more to come, the video is a British wartime newsreel, or rather two newsreels put together to show more pictures of the ship and crew.
Unfortunatelly people die in wars...
P.S. i know it`s "boat" in English, but in German it`s "boot" and i presume it`s more common name even outside of Germany.

@VVojtekSoldierBear Thankyou very much for your kind message. I have been in shock because I've seen my father's boat in action today.Where are you? Germany? I would love to see more videos of ORP "Burza".. I have two pictures of the Burza Crew. Are you interested in seeing them?I think you're probably more interested in action/war vids!
With regard to Boot or boat - it depends where you live though English seems to be more common now. I'm Scottish based in Glasgow. Best wishes

@soundsarama Well, i`m Polish from Warsaw :)
I`m not sure how important this difference is, both ways it`s a correct.
I`m interested in both, still and moving images and i researched many pages also with stills of "Burza", unfortunatelly the quality is usually lacking. You can browse my uploaded videos, there should be also a visit of President Władysław Raczkiewicz on boards of "Burza" and "Błyskawica"... it`s sad "Burza" was scrapped, but "Błyskawica" is still in Gdynia as a museum :)

@soundsarama On reflection, uboot is apt - that's what it was called by the Polish sailors. The film looks a bit like a propaganda film but it must be true. Thanks a lot.

@soundsarama ALL of these newsreels can be easyly labeled as 'propaganda', that was a war after all... I`m unable to confirm if this event really took place, i`m even not sure if all of these pictures are from Burza, all i have is assurance from archive description... "this is not a put up show but an actual attack" :)
P.s. sure i`m interested and i`ll be grateful for every helpful informations.
