7/09/10: Yesterday in the Legislature, the KMT attempted to skip the preliminary review (1st reading) of ECFA and put it straight to the 2nd reading. In preliminary review, ECFA could be reviewed article by article. The KMT caucus, scared of this, wants to bypass the democratic process. In the scuffle yesterday, a timer was thrown that happened to hit KMT legislator 吳育昇. In a press conference after, 吳育昇 made it sound like he sacrificed his life to save Legislative Speaker Wang Jin-pyng (王金平). Yeah right...
