  • Hi Andivon;

    Actually... I was planning on trying other plants. Straberries sound great! I'm trying to also think of creative things to do with a soda bottle. I'll make sure to mention strawberries on a show. Send pics if you have any. Happy Gardening! GAiL

  • What a great way to recycle plastic bottles. Just planted upside down tomato plant yesterday and hoping it works. Will you be showing updates of progress?

  • if you use lemon scented dish soap with water, in a spray bottle, you will get rid of them without having to change the soil

  • Hello! I've actually used the soap before and it didn't work out for me. We must must have some mean flies around here!

  • Was there enough soil in your container to establish a substantial root ball for the plant to flourish.

  • Thats cool. I'm making 1 tomorrow. Thanks. That would be a great project for kids in school.

  • That plant of your great great grandmas is a Hoya plant, I have one, its almost 40 years old! I love when it flowers, clumps of little pink hard flowers that look like candy!

  • That 2nd mystery plant from your Great Grandmother's front porch is the same mystery plant I have growing from my grandmothers home some 20 something years ago. I also snuck a snip!! LOL. It's still growing great. Once my grandmother passed on..I actually got the pots that she grew her's in. So the plant and the pot are once again back together. Everytime I look at it..I'm reminded of my grandmother.

  • Hey you are crazy and coo coo...
