different ppl respond to different material - just because one isn't an MD or PhD doesn't mean you can't tell your story, and it also doesn't mean that you're discredited, by any means. It seems that society has become obsessed with the scientific model, and/or how many letters one has after one's name, AND when that's not good enough, they also need to know where you got those letters, i.e, Harvard, etc.

I know that haws are edible but I'm too scared to try them. You can make wine with them. I wanted to make blackberry wine in the summer but scoffed any that I picked and since they ripen in stages it was hard to find enough at a time to make wine with. I bet adults who go blackberry picking these days get scoffed at by people who buy them in shops.

In a fractal reality everything is similar to everything else. I once got this notion from a a philosophy of law professor, who called it the "analogical reconstitution of praxis" Even when not consciously seeded I believe it's natural for the myth tradition to form a metaphor of reality. And the predator class is a constant in human reality, at least when we're in the dark ages. The myths carry the flame so that a higher consciousness can be attained in a better age. Like the one coming now...

Nice one Thomas! The Labyrinth, Hansel and Grettel etc - essential prophylactics. Get them into your system young (and into the systems of YOUR own young) then they can be revived and applied to the hydra-heads of oppression; all the poisonous and predatory gunk and the resulting 'loss of self' when they come - and they will come. There are sophisticated battalions of those monsters out there! A nice quote I happened across the other day - 'It's the Chain of Obedience that need to be broken'!
