Spore - Reaching the Center of the Galaxy the easy way ;D

This little trick can help everybody who has problems with reaching the core of the Spore Galaxy. A big problem are the Grox when you don't have enough healing items. The easiest way is to pause the game all the time and look for a new route to the next solar system until you reach the core.

No big deal if you have some practice ;)

Thanks! A lot of people over-think it and do weird stuff like ally with the Grox (which makes everyone else hate you) or try to destroy their entire civilization (wat) but it really is as simple as pausing and looking for a path with about 15-20 healing items.

1) Pause to look for a path.

2) Don't wait until you're low on health to heal.

3) Don't try to protect your allied ships too much. They're going to die anyway.

4) Keep your turret on.

Zealot is good for establishing a home planet base in enemy territry

The way i get through the Grox is to attack a whole lot of planetary systems in order cutting a large portion of territory away from the grox - this way i can get closer to the galactic centre in the future and not get attacked at the same distance. Once i am close enough i just quickly hop from system to system regardless of how many ships attack me. Once my health is getting pounded i scroll into a planet and kill the ships and move on with the process again after healing via 10+ health packs

@TheDinosaur900 you can kill them all but they have a F***ING LOAD OF SYSTEMS so itll take you months to destroy them... :/

You said pause game when you reach the next solar system... There's only one solar system... And we're in it. It's the Sol System. In other words the system around sol, our sun. >.>
